For the second year in a row, Laundromat Music has created EXO’s much-anticipated winter single.  Following last year’s successful footprints set by EXO’s “Sing For You”, comes this year’s “For Life”: a moving ballad written by Tishler, Benward and Kenzie.  

Massive K-pop boyband SHINee has released the repackage of their successful 1 of 1 albumcontaining “If You Love Her”, written by Matthew Tishler, Felicia Barton, Coach & Sendo, with lyrics by renowned Eana Kim.  

As a tie-in for the massively anticipated film Death Note: Light Up the New World, Matthew Tishler, Felicia Barton, and Aaron Benward have written “Dear Diary”, which is set to be the film’s lead single performed by Japanese superstar Namie Amuro.  The song debuted at #7 on Billboard’s Japan Hot 100. 

Laundromat Music is been proud to be part of the exclusive team writing and producing the music for this fresh concept teen musical/drama/comedy from Disney Channel UK.  Matthew Tishler has created half the series songs, while renowned production team of Jeannie Lurie, Chen Neeman and Aris Archontis has created the other half.  The songs are performed by series stars Sophie Simnett, Jade Alleyne, Luke Newton, Thomas Doherty, Bethan Wright, Jayden Revri, and Dominic Harrison.  Songs for Season 1 include: “Believe That”, “If You Only Knew”, “Tell It Like It Is”, “What I’ve Been Wishing For” and “Bringing Better Back”.  The series has debuted to significant ratings, proving to be the highest-rated Disney Channel UK debut in 4 years.

Years after “Friday”, the YouTube sensation has released “The Great Divide” (Matthew Tishler/Shari Short/Aaron Benward/Rebecca Black) as her latest single, generating incredible rave reviews from supporters and doubters alike, commending her mature sound and impressive vocals. 

We are proud to announce that Matthew Tishler has created the theme song to Disney Channel’s latest comedy series Bizaardvark, in collaboration with the series creators Kyle Stegina and Josh Lehrman.  The song “Let’s Go Make Some Videos” is performed by series stars Madison Hu and Olivia Rodrigo.  Additionally, Matthew has written and produced 3 comedy-style songs for Season 1 with Stegina, Lehrman and long-time collaborator Andrew Underberg: “The Comeback Song”, “Party Don’t Stop” and “Notes In Your Lunchbag”.

The massive Korean girl group recorded and released the smash hit single “Good Luck”, by Matthew Tishler, Felicia Barton and Aaron Benward.  The song is also the title track of the group’s 4th Korean EP, and is included on their 2nd Japanese studio album Runaway.  

In a surprising cross-label collaboration between Jimin (from FNC’s AOA) and Xiumin (from SM’s EXO), comes “Call You Bae”, written by Matthew Tishler, Jordan Fisher, and Paula Winger.  

In collaboration with Kenzie and SM Entertainment, “Because Of You” (Tishler/Barton/Benward) became the 3rd installment in the popular S.M. Station project. 

From the popular boyband SHINEE, this Korean popstar released the powerful “Soldier”, by Matthew Tishler, Felicia Barton, and Aaron Benward, for his first full-length studio album, Press It.  The album, released by SM Entertainment on February 23, 2016, also contains songs by Bruno Mars and the Stereotypes, and Teddy Riley.  

Laundromat Music co-wrote and produced 5 songs for the massive Chinese superstar.  “That Good Good” (Matthew Tishler/Liz Rodrigues/Adam Royce), “Your Song” (Matthew Tishler/Jeannie Lurie), Inner Force (Matthew Tishler/Eric Lowry), “Deep” (Matthew Tishler/Squareloud), and “Football Gang” (Matthew Tishler/Squareloud) were all included in various releases of Luhan’s RELOADED EP.  The sets have enjoyed sales and downloads of over 5,000,000 units in China and around the world; and the songs have been featured across a handful of successful promotions, including “Deep” as the theme song for China’s Kung Fu Panda 3 release, and “Inner Force”’s tie-in with China’s release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

SM Entertainment’s successful “S.M. Station” project debuts with this soulful R&B song, in a solo performance by Taeyeon of Girls Generation.  The song, written by Matthew Tishler, Felicia Barton, Aaron Benward and Olivia Holt enjoyed several weeks at #1 on the Korean Gaon downloads chart, totaling over 1,200,000 downloads to date.  The song also peaked at #3 on Billboard’s US World Digital Songs Chart.

Continuing the tradition of incredible collaborations, “No Me Without You” marks Matthew’s 6th time joining forces with with the Japanese songstress, this time creating a ballad for Kumi’s Winter Of Love album.

As the fourth and final season of the hit Disney Channel series comes to a close, we are proud to announce that Matthew Tishler and Emily Reid have written the series finale duet between the title characters.  The song, “Two In A Million”, is performed by series stars Ross Lynch and Laura Marano, and the song is produced by Tishler.  Additionally, in the second-to-last episode of the series, Matthew produced the cover version of Carole King’s “You’ve Got A Friend”, performed by Raini Rodriguez as Trish.  This comes at the 5-year anniversary of the pilot episode of Austin & Ally, for which Matthew Tishler and Amy Powers wrote “Break Down The Walls”.  In all, Laundromat Music produced 10 songs for the series.

Laundromat Music is thrilled to be involved with one of SM Entertainment's most successful music groups, EXO.  The band released "Sing For You" (Matthew Tishler/Felicia Barton/Aaron Benward/Kenzie) as a winter single on December 10, 2015, and it quickly debuted at #1 in Korea.  EXO's most recent album Exodus has enjoyed sales of over 1.1 million units.  

December 2015 brought the release of J-POP royalty Namie Amuro's winter single, "Red Carpet", written by Matthew Tishler, Paula Winger, Stephanie Lewis, and TIGER, produced by Tishler.  The single debuted at #2 for physical sales in Japan.

To get in the holiday spirit, Laundromat Music's Matthew Tishler enjoyed production duties on the duo's covers of two classic Christmas songs, "All I Want For Christmas" by Mariah Carey, and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas".  TGATDC is comprised of Dove Cameron and Ryan McCartan.  

K-Pop superstar and member of Girls' Generation, Taeyeon, released her debut EP, I, on October 7, 2015.  The set features "U R", written by Matthew Tishler, Ben Charles and Robyn Newman, and debuted at #1 in a dozen countries.

The sequel to this wildly successful Disney Channel Original Movie features the opening number "Best Summer Ever", written by Matthew Tishler and Amy Powers.  Teen Beach 2 premiered on Disney Channel on June 26, 2015 to 13.3 million viewers opening weekend.

This year’s Disney Nature film features an end title song written by Matthew Tishler, Felicia Barton, and Aaron Benward. Produced by Tishler, the song “It’s Our World” is performed by The Voice runner-up and Atlantic Records artist Jacquie Lee. The song was digitally released by Walt Disney Records on April 14, 2015, and the film Monkey Kingdom was released in theaters on April 17, 2015.

Hollywood Records has announced the release of Sabrina Carpenter’s debut album, Eyes Wide Open, on April 21, 2015. The album features “Your Love’s Like”, written by Matthew Tishler, Phil Bentley, Lindsey Lee and Sabrina Carpenter, produced by Tishler.

The 15th anniversary of this J-Pop superstar’s career will be marked by the release of her 12th studio album, Walk Of My Life. Set for release on March 18, 2015, the album contains “Gimme U”, written by Matthew Tishler, Phil Bentley and Andrew Underberg.

Matthew recently produced “True Love” by Jordan Fisher for the soundtrack of Disney Channel’s popular series Liv & Maddie, set for release on March 17, 2015 by Walt Disney Records. “True Love” was written by Shelly Peiken and Adam Anders.

One of the most commercially successful music acts in Asia has released its 8th Japanese studio album WITH, containing “Chandelier”, written and produced by Matthew Tishler and Andrew Underberg. Released by Avex Trax on December 17, 2014, the album sold over 162,000 units in its first day of release, topping the Billboard Japan Top Albums chart, and ultimately achieving platinum sales status. The song is also featured as the end theme for TBS TV’s Arita no yarashii.

“Fa La La”, written and produced by Matthew Tishler and Ben Charles, was featured in McDonald’s holiday season commercials for their popular American Express “Gift-Fest”.

A spin-off of the wildly successful Dora the Explorer, this popular Nickelodeon series has featured several Laundromat Music songs.

This popular J-Pop duo released “If There Was No You”, written and produced by Matthew Tishler and Andrew Underberg. Their EP, Tokyo Style, was released on November 4, 2014 by Avex Entertainment.


Matthew Tishler, Maria Christensen and Shridhar Solanki have written "Take On The World", the theme song to the highly-anticipated spin-off of popular 90's sitcom Boy Meets World.  Performed by series stars Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter, the song - and its summer remix - were released by Walt Disney Records on May 20, 2014.  Girl Meets World also features original Boy Meets World stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, and creators Michael Jacobs and April Kelly.  The series premieres on Disney Channel June 27, 2014.  



The platinum-selling Canadian star has released "Sawdust", written by Matthew Tishler, Allison Kaplan, and Emma-Lee, on her sophomore album Accelerate, released by Warner Music Canada on June 3, 2014.



Superstar Japanese girl group Happiness has released "Show Me Your Heart" (Matthew Tishler & Andrew Underberg) on their 6th single, Juicy Love.  The single was released on May 28, 2014 by Universal Music Japan.  



2Q14 has seen Laundromat Music working a handful of exciting Hasbro commercials, including music for Littlest Pet Shop, Baby Alive, and FurReal Friends GoGo and PomPom.



April 2, 2014 saw the release of "Grotesque", a duet between J-Pop royalty Ken Hirai & Namie Amuro.  The song, written and produced by Matthew Tishler and Daniel J Plante, features lyrics by Hirai himself.  The release is Hirai's 36th single release, marking the 20-year anniversary of his debut on the J-Pop music scene.  



"Catching Shadows" by Felicia Barton (written by Matthew Tishler & Amy Powers) is included in the film and official soundtrack of Make Your Move, an exciting and dynamic dance film starring BoA and Derek Hough. Directed by Duane Adler of Step Up fame, the film is produced by CJ Entertainment, Robert Cort Productions and SM Entertainment.  The official soundtrack is set for release by SM Entertainment on April 7, 2014, and the film is set to hit theatres on April 18, 2014!



Matthew produced a cover of the heart-warming favorite "Put A Little Love In Your Heart" for a Coca Cola campaign, featuring their award-winning "Security Cameras" and "#ShareTheGood Manifesto" visuals.  



YTV's latest comedy series Some Assembly Required features a theme song written by Matthew Tishler and Andrew Ang!  The song, "Here We Go", is performed by series star Kolton Stewart.  Created by Dan Signer (A.N.T. Farm, The Suite Life On Deck) and Howard Nemetz, the series premiered on YTV in January 2014.  



This Disney Channel music release features two Laundromat Music songs and productions: "You Can Come To Me" (Matthew Tishler & Amy Powers), performed by the stars of Austin & Ally Ross Lynch and Laura Marano; and "I Got That Rock and Roll" (Matthew Tishler & Ben Charles) performed by Ross Lynch.  Both songs have been featured on-screen in the Disney Channel Series Austin & Ally.  The album was released on February 11, 2014 and debuted at #2 on the Billboard Kids Albums chart.

Disney Channel series Austin & Ally released its second soundtrack on December 17, 2013, containing "Superhero" (Matthew Tishler/Tyler Shaw/Ava Kay) performed by series star Ross Lynch.  The song is set to be featured in upcoming Season 3 of the popular Disney Channel series.  The Walmart Exclusive edition of the soundtrack also contains "Finally Me" (Laura Marano/Matthew Tishler/Ben Charles) performed by Laura Marano.  Also, the Target Exclusive edition includes the song "You Can Come To Me" (Matthew Tishler/Amy Powers), performed by Lynch & Marano.

Nickelodeon's latest preschool series, Wallykazam, will feature original music composed by Matthew Tishler.  Featuring a rich literacy curriculum, the animated series is about Wally and his pet dragon Norville, who use words and music to take on exciting adventures together.  Wallykazam is created by Adam Peltzman (Blue's Clues, The Backyardigans).  



Laundromat Music has enjoyed several exciting film and television placements this season, including songs placed in ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars, MTV's Big Tips Texas and Snooki & Jwoww, E! News Daily, and Style's Resale Royalty.



Matthew produced the single for finalist Kat Moscone on Season 6 of YTV's renowned talent search reality series, The Next Star.  The song, "Lioness", was written by Matthew Tishler, Divine Brown and Emma-Lee, and was released on September 16, 2013's.  The song is contained on Season 6's soundtrack YTV's the Next Star Season 6 distributed by Sony Music Canada.  The Next Star is produced by Tricon Television55 Inc.  



To reprise their success with Mag Lam in 2012, Matthew Tishler and Andrew Ang wrote the music to "Yi Qian Ling Yi Ci Reng Sheng" for Lam's September 25, 2013 album District 23, released by EEG in Hong Kong.  Lam is the winner of Hong Kong's The Voice: Season 2.



Matthew has been working on original music for the upcoming Nickelodeon CG-animated preschool series Blaze And The Monster Machines.  Set to debut in 2014, the series follows 8-year-old AJ and his monster truck Blaze as they take on adventures and learn lessons in science, technology, engineering and math.  Blaze is created by Jeff Borkin (Team Umizoomi, Little Einsteins) and Ellen Martin (Bubble Guppies, The Backyardigans).



Disney Channel's Austin & Ally features the song "I Got That Rock & Roll" written by Matthew Tishler and Ben Charles in its episode "Beach Bums & Bling".  Performed by Ross Lynch ("Austin"), the song debuted to 3.1 million viewers on August 11, 2013.  Also, Austin & Ally episode "Tracks & Troubles" features "Finally Me", written by series star Laura Marano ("Ally"), Matthew Tishler and Ben Charles.  "Finally Me" premiered on June 23, 2013 to 3.3 million viewers, and marks the first time the character Ally sings solo on the show.  



Matthew recently composed music for several Hasbro ad campaigns, including commercials for My Little Pony, Equestria Girls and The Game of Life.



K-Pop supergroup SHINee has released "Can't Leave (Sleepless Night)" as the final track on their 2-part album, Chapter 2. Why So Serious? - The Misconceptions of Me.  The album was released on April 26, 2013 by SM Entertainment, peaking at #1 in Korea and #8 in Japan.  The song was written by Matthew Tishler, Kwang Wook Lim, and Yu Min Kim, with lyrics by Chang Min Sim, who is also known for being one-half of another K-Pop powerhouse, TVXQ.   



Season 9 winner of Germany's Pop Idol, Luca Hanni has released "Shameless" (Matthew Tishler/Allan Eshuijs/TJ Oosterhuis) for his April 19, 2013 album Living The Dream, released by Universal.  "Shameless" is the first single from the album, which has peaked at #1 in Switzerland, #8 in Austria and #17 in Germany.   



June 5, 2013 will see the release of "Get U Back" by Keita feat. AISHA, his first solo album outside of J-pop supergroup W-INDS.  Keita's album is titled Side By Side and will be released by Pony Canyon in Japan.  



This popular J-pop boyband recently released two Laundromat Music songs: "Gimme Your Love" (Matthew Tishler/Robyn Newman/Adam Royce) and "Masquerade" (Matthew Tishler/Robyn Newman/DJ Blackout/Danny Schofield).  



Matthew Tishler and Snareface produced this Canadian star's 2012 Christmas single, a cover of "Rockin' Around The Xmas Tree".  



This quarter has seen some exciting uses of Matthew's music in film and television projects including: Pretty Little Liars, Snooki & Jwoww, Mr. D, Home Alone: Holiday Heist, and The People's Choice Awards 2013. 



Winner of Hong Kong's The Voice: Season 2, Mag Lam recorded a song by Matthew Tishler and Andrew Ang for release on her August 24, 2012 album, Love Is Light.



These superstar sisters recorded "Butterfly" written by Matthew Tishler, Andrew Ang & Susan Markle, released by SM Entertainment on the soundtrack for To The Beautiful You, a South Korean drama series airing on Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS).  When not duetting, Jessica is a member of Girls' Generation, and Krystal is a member of (fx), both popular girl groups in South Korea.  



Season 2 of the popular Disney Channel series Austin & Ally is set to feature a handful of Laundromat Music songs.  "Don't Look Down" written by Matthew Tishler and Robyn Newman is featured in the season's first episode, a Halloween special, as the first duet ever between the title characters.  As well, "You Can Come To Me" written by Matthew Tishler and Amy Powers is set for another exciting featured moment later in the season.  Both songs feature stars Ross Lynch (as Austin Moon) and Laura Marano (as Ally Dawson). Also, keep your eyes peeled for three other Austin & Ally songs this season written and produced by Matthew Tishler and Ben Charles.  



"I Got My Scream On" by China Anne McClain is track 1 on the soundtrack for the Disney Channel event Make Your Mark.  It is also featured in China's own Disney Channel series ANT Farm, in Season 2's Halloween episode called "MutANT Farm 2".  The song can also be heard in the Disney Channel Original Movie Girl Vs. 2012 has been a great year for Laundromat Music's songs in television and advertising, providing music in commercials for: Scrabble Alphabet Scoop (Hasbro), a Barbie Jet Set & Style video game (Mattel), Gillette Venus (Braun), and a Chuck Toys commercial (Tonka).



We are excited to announce that Matthew Tishler and Andrew Ang wrote "Let's Get Crazy", the official Coca Cola Euro Cup 2012 Anthem.  The song is performed by acclaimed New York gypsy-punk band Gogol Bordello, and is being used in connection with Coca Cola's extensive European advertising campaign supporting their sponsorship in the Euro Cup games.  The song is included in a handful of ad spots, including "The Spirit Of The Euro" (click here),  "Transformation" (click here) and this version by Like Elliot Said: (click here).  



The famed Nickelodeon/Sony Music preschool outfit has recorded "Dance With Me", written and produced by Matthew Tishler, for release on their October 9, 2012 album The Fresh Beat Band: More Music From The Hit TV Show Vol. 2.0.  The album contains a handful of brand new original songs and covers, including "I'm Yours" featuring Jason Mraz himself.  Hear the album on iTunes!  The Fresh Beat Band's first album debuted at #1 on the Billboard Soundtrack Album Chart.



"All About Tonight" has just been released as a single for the popular Nickelodeon series, performed by Cymphonique Miller, and produced by Matthew Tishler.  The song, written by Pixie Lott, Tebey Ottoh, Brian Kidd and Tommy Lee James, has also been a chart-topper for its original artist, Pixie Lott, when it was first released in September 2011.  How To Rock features the song in its "How To Rock Cee Lo" episode featuring a cameo by none other than Cee Lo Green, of "F**k You", "Crazy" and The Voice fame. 



Matthew recently wrote and produced the21 song "Something In The Air", co-written with Andrew Ang, for the new Nick at Nite series Hollywood Heights starring Cody Longo and Brittany Underwood.  The song is performed by lead character Eddie, a rockstar played by Longo, as his big single, and is also featured in the series opening credits.  The first season of Hollywood Heights has been green-lit for 80 episodes, and is set to air every weeknight at 9pm EST on TeenNick.  Academy Award Nominee James Franco is slated to make a mid-season appearance with a several-episode arc.    



The Japanese superstar has released "Whatchu Waitin' On", written by Matthew Tishler and DJ Plante, as the first single from her latest remix album Beach Mix, containing remixes of some of her most popular songs. Released on July 25, 2012, "Whatchu Waitin' On" is the only original track on the disc.  



Matthew was recently in studio with China Anne McClain, star of Disney Channel's A.N.T. Farm, recording vocals for "I Got My Scream On", a song co-written with Amy Powers and Andrew Ang. 



This Disney Channel Original Movie starring Debby Ryan, featuring 3 songs written and produced by Matthew Tishler, premiered to 4.3 million viewers as the #1 TV telecast among kids 2-11, kids 6-11, and tweens 9-14 when it premiered on Disney Channel, February 17, 2012.  



Famed Portugese singer Rita Guerra released "Só depende de mim" written by Matthew Tishler and Ava Kay on her album Retrato.  The album has certified platinum sales in Portugal.  



Co-written with Allan Eshuijs and TJ Oosterhuis, Matthew's song "Say Yes" has been recorded by Japanese supergroup Winds for their July 4, 2012 album entitled Move Like This, which is the group's 9th studio album.  



"Go With Gravity" written by Matthew Tishler & Robyn Newman, produced by Matthew, has been recorded by star-to-be Cymphonique Miller for Nickelodeon's new live-action comedy series How To Rock.  The show follows Kasey Simon (Cymphonique) and her band Gravity 5 as they use music to find themselves, after Kasey has been shunned from the popular crowd that she used to be the queen of.  The series also stars Max Schneider, Samantha Boscarino, and Lulu Antariksa, and is executive produced by David M. Israel (3rd Rock From The Sun, The Tracy Morgan Show), Leslie Morgenstein (Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars), and Gina Girolamo (The Lying Game) for Alloy Entertainment.  Daughter of Percy "Master P" Miller, Cymphonique has an impressive list of credits in music, acting, writing and performing, including appearing alongside the likes of JoJo, Ashley Tisdale, and brother Lil' Romeo.  



On January 25, 2012, Japanese superstar Kumi Koda released her 10th studio album, containing songs "Love Me Back" (Matthew Tishler, Liz Rodrigues & Kumi Koda) and "Lay Down" (Matthew Tishler, Kat Lucas, Adam Royce & Kumi Koda), debuting in the #1 sales position with nearly 100,000 units sold. "Love Me Back" was released as the album's 3rd single on November 30, 2011, and is featured as the theme song to Fuji TV's "Nazotoki wa Dinner no Ato de".



Starting the year off with a bang, Exile Atsushi's album Exile Japan/Solo, containing "Itsuka Kitto" written by Matthew Tishler, Andrew Ang and Atsushi Sato, was released on January 1, 2012 in Japan selling an astonishing 350,000 physical units in one day, debuting at #1.  First week sales are counted at 501,000 units, and has since sold upwards of 750,000 units, remaining in the #1 position for three straight weeks.  



"Break Down The Walls", produced by Matthew Tishler and co-written with Amy Powers is featured in the very first episode of the new Disney Channel series Austin & Ally.  The episode, called "Rockers & Writers", is the series preview set to debut on Dec. 2, 2011 immediately following the premiere of Good Luck Charlie, It's Christmas.  "Break Down The Walls" is performed by star-to-be Ross Lynch, who plays Austin, and the series also stars Laura Marano (Ally), Raini Rodriguez (Trish) and Calum Worthy (Dez).  The pilot episode is directed by Shelly Jensen and written by the show's creators Kevin Kopelow & Heath Seifert.
